1. I am a middle child.

3. I worked at Save-on Foods for two years. (not recommended)
4. I worked at Starbucks, Deep Cove North Van. for a year and a half.
5. My right ear sticks out at a right degree angle to my head.
6. My great great uncle is Chief Dan George (Little Big Man).
7. Neither me nor my husband have played our musical instruments since we have lived in our apartment. (over a year. sad. too loud, no space.)
8. I am nervous about getting my feet sucked into a moving escalator.
9. I was recently mistaken for a 14 year old. I am 27.
10. In winter, I often go up to two months without shaving my legs. I need the extra insulation.

Three more weeks of papers, presentations and exams. So I thought in celebration, I would put up our Christmas tree next weekend. Maybe I will take a picture and do a trial picture-post. I still know very little about this interweb technology. I live on Microsoft Word.

So I updated my profile because I am procrastinating on doing school work. I would like this semester to be finished. It always gets to this point where everything seems to grow into this never ending pile. Realistically, I will be finished in a month, and that is very short. It is scary because that doesn't seem to be enough time to finish everything. I am excited for Christmas. Last year my husband and I spent Christmas with my family, so this year we are spending Christmas with his family. Very casual and laid back, very relaxing. I want it to be here now!

Time to get back to paper writing...

Thanksgiving

I know it has been over a week since Thanksgiving weekend, but we should give thanks everyday, should we not? Anyway, I went and visited my family that weekend, but my poor husband was called in to work that whole weekend (deadlines, falling behind, evil boss), and he missed out. So this past Saturday, the weekend after Thanksgiving, I decided to cook a full roast chicken dinner for my wonderful husband. I have never done that before. I made stuffing from scratch, stuffed it inside the chicken (not as easy as it looks), rubbed the chicken down with butter and lemon (nice crispy skin) made mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots. I set the table with candles. It turned out pretty good, and he was happy. And I was happy. And we had three days worth of leftovers. Good times.
